B Movies were mainly made in the 91950's the film Attack of the 50 ft woman was an American Sci-fi feature film produced by Bernard Woolner (Woolner Brothers) in 1958.
The film was a take on other films in which humans changed size such as The Amazing Colossal Man and The Incredible Shrinking Man however with a female protagonist rather than a male.
B Movies are famous for their low budget commercial films and generally so bad there good.
This film is different as it is more common to have a male protagonist rather than a female however it follows the revenge plot as she seeks revenge on her husband and his mistress, which is probably where the writer and director bernard rose got his idea from with Helen lyle also seeking revenge on her husband and his mistress.
