This then paralyzes her so she is then stuck with her hands holding onto the bars of the gate with her face between then connoting that she is trapped. she then slowly dies with the Dr walking off in the background.
The film ends 2 weeks later when the police find a diary in her bedroom explaining what happened and find the knife in the back of Dr.Karloffs car. However he has completely disappeared...
